2011 Schedule
September 2nd – 4th: Bring more props home from storage and continue to re-wire and test props. Build witch shanty.
September 9th – 11th: Re-wire, re-build, touch up paint, do off-line preliminary wiring. Build LED spot lights.
September 12th – 16th: Keep working on projects
September 17th – 18th: Empty attic, start garage set-up, begin to wire garage.
September 19th – 23rd: Wire props & sensors, touch-up paint, work on props.
September 24th & 25th: Build cemetery fence, and erect large structures. Set up aerial props and roof-top items. Continue to ‘stage' props, touch up paint, do off-line preliminary wiring.
September 30th - October 2nd: continue to erect props, add details, and begin cemetery wiring for prop control as well as plumbing all air systems and lighting.
October 7th: Display "soft" opening. Hopefully have much up and running. Continue to tinker, build props, repairs, paint, etc.
October 8th: Finish EVERYTHING WE CAN!!! Haunt 31's 2011 GRAND OPENING Look for actors and our display in its full glory. Come out to enjoy in the fun!!
October 9th – 14th: Continue to tinker, build and add props, repairs, paint, etc. Open nightly weather permitting.
October 14th – 16th: Expect moderate size crowds, we could use some help if you have the time!!!
October 16th – 21st: Continue to tinker, build props, repairs, paint, etc. Open nightly weather permitting.
October 21st – 23rd: Expect moderate crowds, some traffic. Please have patience, and respect for our neighbors. We could use some help if you have the time!!!
October 23rd – 27th: Cntinue to tinker, build props, repairs, paint, etc. Prepare for the big day!!! Open nightly weather permitting.
October 28th , 29th, & 30th: Expect VERY LARGE crowds, HEAVY Traffic. Please have patience, and respect for our neighbors and guests. We could use some help if you have the time!!!
October 31st: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Expect in excess of 3-5000 visitors and HEAVY traffic. Please have patience, and respect for our neighbors and guests. We could use some help if you have the time!!!
October 31st (late): Haunt 31 is tested one final time, and tear down begins.
November 1st: Props moved to storage, or in garage for repair.
November 2nd: After a short rest, repair & planning begins for 2012.
